Special Education is the perfect profession for me

Growing up I always knew I wanted to teach. I was always unsure what I wanted to teach. I thought math would be a good subject. I enjoyed math a lot, except for one thing, I wasnt that good at math. But I still knew I wanted to teach. 

As a junior my mom brought up the idea of teaching special ed. I thought about it. I did an internship with special ed students at a local high school and decided that I really would enjoy teaching these students. So that is how I decided that special education was the perfect profession for me.
